Graduate Student’s Association
The Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) (Swedish: Doktorandsektionen) is a section within Medicinska Föreningen, the Medical Students’ Union. GSA organizes most of the 2.500 postgraduate students aiming for a licentiate or doctoral degree at Karolinska Institutet. Odontologiska Föreningen has a local GSA for the PhD students at the Institute of Odontology. The local GSA has a board (doktorandrådet) with members who are PhD student representatives in several committees and boards both locally at the Institute and centrally at Karolinska Institutet.
This website will be a forum for the PhD students at the Institute of Odontology.

To become a member of Odontologiska Föreningen
To be a member you have to register. You have 2 choises:
1. Send your full name, adress and your swedish ”person nummer”/social security number (if you’ve got one) to info@of.ki.se, you will then get an invoice home to your mailbox.
2. Pay and register at the same time at our office at Alfred Nobels Allé 8, floor five. Mondays and wendsday 8.30-15.30
Ombudsman
The name of the ombudsman is John Steen. You can contact him if you have any kind of problems with your studies or have questions about PhD-studies in general. He have a professional secrecy so your meeting/conversation can be confidential.
